Colin Sinclair: Artistic Director / Producer and founder
Colin Sinclair graduated from The ‘Urdang Academy of Ballet and Performing Arts’ in London. He then started a long career as an Artist. Traveling to Norway and Sweden he worked as a dancer and actor in Musical Theater and shows for Scandinavian television.
He was co-founder and choreographer of the ‘Abstract Dance Company’, which toured Europe extensively for two years. After touring with the company,
After returning home to London, he worked as a freelance teacher and choreographer. His next project was an ambitious one. He formed a new Dance Company called “Metropolis” The dance company again toured, this time visiting the Canary and Balearic Islands for further two years. Performing in Theaters, Hotels, and Casinos and on television with glamorous Las Vegas floorshows.
Colin was the executive Choreographer for Showcase Entertainment as well as resident Choreographer for The Talk of London Showroom. In both positions he wrote and developed concepts for forth coming productions as well as producing and directing. He has had the great honor of performing and meeting the late Princess Diana. He has more recently performed in the Peter Maffay musical “Tabaluga und Lilli”.
Colin holds a ‘New York Film Academy’ Diploma and has written, directed and produced several award winning short films as well as producing over a dozen original theater plays. He is committed to making the SATC a solid professional company.
Ulrich Linberg: Musical Director
Tobias was born in Duisburg/West Germany in 1975 and grew up on the Lower Rhine where he started to learn the piano and concert flute from a very young age. He was also educated in harmony, counterpoint and composition at County Music School Viersen, and he played the flute in several youth orchestras. After graduating from Thomaeum High School Kempen in 1994, he studied piano and conducting at the Robert Schumann Conservatorium Düsseldorf and received also a Master of Business Administration degree from the European Management Academy Paris. In 2004 he took over the musical direction of the Metropole Orchestra and recorded several film and TV soundtracks with them (Das Geheimnis der Schauspielkunst), and in 2008 he was also appointed Music Director of the Sinfonia Düsseldorf. He has held the same position at the Kaarst Chamber Orchestra since 2009. From 2004 until 2007 he lived in Beauvais/France where he worked for Mstislav Rostropovich´s Cello Festival. Since returning to Germany he has had a busy schedule as conductor, composer, orchestrator and scholar. Among the orchestras he worked with are the Cologne and Hamburg Philharmonic, Deutsches Filmorchester Babelsberg, Junges Orchester Dresden and the Segeberg and Wandsbek Symphony Orchestras.
Nina – Marie Kramer: Production Assistant
Nina-Marie Kramer is a student at the University Duisburg-Essen. When she was three years old she started attending ballet lessons at the ballet school “Sostarich” Later she became a member at the ballet school “Steib”. During her dance education she participated in several Productions. Soon she began to learn new styles do dance such as Hip hop, street Dance and Jazz. Nina has always had an interest in Theatre. She performed the role “Little Cosette” in the musical “Les Miserable” (Stella Musical Company, Duisburg) for over two years. Further acting experiences she got through her time at the Bochumer Schauspielhaus where she performed in the play “Medea” She is no stranger to ‘The Sinclair Arts Theatre Company’ as she was also a valued member of the cast for both productions of Cinderella. Now she joins the creative team as Production Assistant.
Mecky Krahmer: Vocal Coach
Mechthild had her first acting experience at the age of 4. She has been in several musical and theatre productions since and is a classically trained soprano singer. She took master courses at the „Junge Oper Köln“, is the soparano part of the Trio „Dreiklang“, and also works as a soloist in sacred music. She writes and performs chanson recitals on authors, poets and composers in the German langauge area. She also works as a voice coach and choir leader and is a student of Theatre Education at the “Off-Theater” in Neuss. This is her second appearance as the Evil Step mother and her third production with Colin Sinclair after playing the part of „Miss Adelaide“ in „Guys and Dolls“ in 2010.
Deimos Virgillito: Music Production
Deimos Virgillito was born in Northern Italy. He studied piano and guitar at the Handsome Conservatory of Music. After he won the “Henninger Dance Competition” in the TV show “Festivalbar 91” at the age of 17, he went to the “Italy Professional School of Arts” in Milan. After three years of training, he went on tour with dance companies and sang for commercial events. He appeared in TV shows such as “Smile”, “Unomania”, “Big”, “Il Grande Circo di Rete 4” and “Sarabande”. At the age of 20 years he took his European tour of Cats, inter alia, to Germany, where he also roles in “Jesus Christ Superstar”, “Grease”, “West Side Story”, “Miami Nights”, “Fame” and ” Saturday Night Fever “took over. In addition, Deimos signed a contract with Sony Music. Deimos lives in Cologne, where he played in the Queen musical “We Will Rock You”. Furthermore, dances and he assisted for choreographers at the RTL TV show “The Ultimate Chart Show”! Now he is thrilled to be working with the Sinclair Arts Theater Company.
Olga Hecke: Graphic Designer
Olga Hecke studied at the Media Design School in Dusseldorf and completed in October 2005 as Dipl. designer. In internships in the advertising department of Messe Dusseldorf GmbH and advertising agency Kandinsky them from extensive experience in print, photo editing (digital visualization Products) and the web design and programming collected. Since 2007, Olga has been working in an advertising agency. She is happy to be working with The Sinclair Arts Theater Company.
Mathias Dörr: Photography
Mathias Dörr studied Astrophysics at Ruhr-Universität Bochum, where he learned studio photography and analogue processing techniques as staff member of the photography department of the Musisches Zentrum. Since 2009, he continues as a hobby photographer with focus on studio work and portrait.
